Best Western Plus Hiawatha Hotel

The check‑in team was very friendly; one staff member was training another, and the person handling our arrival explained the process to the trainee who asked questions and appreciated our patience. Breakfast was amazing—so many options I’d never seen before. The woman serving breakfast was also friendly and asked if we needed anything.

“I had a wonderful stay. The staff was amazing!!”

The place was clean, no trash anywhere, and the lawn was well maintained. We had a water cooler with ice. I didn’t like that the coffee pot was in the bathroom; when someone flushed the toilet, the smell rose into the air, which was just gross. The pool was very cloudy.

Breakfast staff—Roxanne—served every day. The beds were comfortable and the room spacious. It was next to McDonald’s and an outdoor water park, and there was an indoor hot tub. The pool could have been a bit warmer, but the kids enjoyed it. I wished they offered turkey products for breakfast.

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel, especially considering I had a large family gathering from different parts of the country. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, making sure we felt welcome and comfortable throughout our stay. However, the hotel's facilities could use some improvement, and I noticed a few minor issues during my visit.

I was really looking forward to my stay at this hotel, having had great experiences here multiple times before. Unfortunately, my recent visit was a letdown due to several issues, including a broken elevator and ice machine, which were quite inconvenient. My room wasn't ideal either, with a stained comforter and ants that somehow got into my bag of clothes, which was totally gross.
