The restaurant and service were top‑notch, but for a 4‑star hotel there were several glaring gaps. The rooms lacked natural light, the toilet flush in our room kept breaking, and there were a host of other small issues that made it feel less than 4‑star.

The property and grounds are stunning – perfect for wine and food lovers. The food was mouth‑watering, especially the cooking class we tried. The staff were incredibly helpful, and the location is just over a ten‑minute walk to the center of Chacria.

This little oasis was a dream – I’d love to come back. The evening glass of wine and the sparkling tap water were highlights, and my room was both beautiful and comfy. The only snag was the bike rental, which cost $30–$35 a day. With the overall price already high, a free or low‑cost bike option would have been a nice touch.
