“Comfortably average”
Central location yet quiet, the faded grandeur of the hotel and rooms, helpful host. The room is tired, the shower is poor.

The décor was quirky and the bed turned out to be surprisingly comfy, with a spacious room and a large shower. The staff’s attitude was somewhat poor, yet they were overall helpful.

I liked how the hotel and room felt so unique, old‑school. The room had a kettle, plus coffee, tea, chocolate, cookies, chips, and nuts. There was no staff on site, and no breakfast, but I was told a few days in advance that it wouldn’t be available. The towels were hard to dry and there was no hair dryer.
