The staff were helpful. They let me store luggage before check‑in and after check‑out, arranged a taxi for the next day, lent me scissors to cut thread, and made a restaurant reservation. Access to the Great Buddha and eateries was good. There were no inconveniences, but the facilities themselves are old. I knew this beforehand, but I think having a large bath and a coin‑laundry would have been more functional. Maybe my expectations were too high beforehand.
