“Great place but horrible staff member that ruined the whole experice”

The place was really close to the parks and well centralised, Alejandro was amazing and was very chatty, always wanting to talk to us and see what we were up to that day! They charged my card “taxes” once I left after I had already paid taxes when booking and when I rang up a horrible person called Michelle answered and was so disrespectful and rude! She wouldn’t let me speak or explain anything and just spoke over me the whole phone call and as I was speaking she said “bye” and hung up the phone; it was the worst customer service I have ever received! This truly ruined the whole experience for me because of one horrible woman! There were also ants in the room in the sink and crawling from the ceiling and then also all over the bedside table when we woke up!

The lobby smelled musty and the elevator was crawling with cockroaches. The shuttle to Universal Studios only ran once at 8:55 and there was just a single return in the evening. Because the hotel sits right on the street it was incredibly noisy. Breakfast was served from 7:00 to 9:00, which was far too short for the number of guests and the quality was nowhere near that of nearby hotels, so we skipped it. In short, I wouldn’t recommend this place.
