Pension Garden Hotel

The hosts were fantastic; even though we couldn't speak English, we somehow found a common language and had a great stay with terrific dinners. Communication was a bit tough using only Italian and German, but Google Translate helped. The room fridge could have been a nice addition.

The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with a flowered balcony overlooking the mountains. Breakfast was excellent. The half‑board dinners were gourmet and delicious. One family member is lactose intolerant, and the hotel staff (Mr. Costa, Nádia) always made sure to offer tasty alternatives. The hotel’s location between Ortisei and Cortina is ideal for those who want to relax at the end of the day, and the scenery between those places is spectacular.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A small pension with a big concept. Four nights in Kolfuschg. First, huge praise for the hosts! The whole concept of this small, fine pension convinced me completely. From the warm welcome we felt instantly at home. The absolute highlight for us was the fantastic dinner. The hosts’ son and his team put incredible effort into the kitchen and serve a modern, varied, and delicious menu. For this price range, the food was clearly above what I had experienced before—just really strong! 👌 Breakfast was also flawless—everything fresh, diverse, and lovingly detailed. After our exhausting hikes, we could first relax wonderfully in the whirlpool and then recharge in the great wellness area. The three saunas deserve special mention: spacious, very hot, and perfect for relaxed infusions. They also offer infusion water with fine scents, an ice machine for cooling afterward, and three different showers. One even has various programs with changing temperatures, scents, and water jets, plus fresh lemon water and a generous relaxation area—wonderful! 😍 Whenever we had questions or needs, we were always helped kindly and straightforwardly. It’s clear that genuine hospitality is lived here. Big kudos to the housekeeping staff: our room was cleaned and arranged very neatly every day—something I personally appreciate a lot. We felt extremely comfortable throughout our stay and would return anytime. Thank you to the whole family and team for these beautiful days! We can wholeheartedly recommend the Garden Hotel in Kolfuschg. ❤️
