The spot was perfect for snorkeling right off the property, letting you swim straight to Jemeluk Bay where the coral was gorgeous and there were plenty of fish and turtles. The bathroom felt very rustic, the door wouldn’t close unless you locked it, you could see the moon while showering because there was no roof, and the showerhead spun, so you had to hold it in your hand.

Being right on the beach made it an excellent place for snorkeling, but the older room I was assigned to had no water pressure in the shower.

Ganesh sits right on the beachfront, and the snorkeling right in front of the hotel is amazing with turtles, sharks, and a rainbow of fish; my favorite moment was spending quality time with an octopus. Nothing to complain about—the place is inexpensive, not a five‑star resort, but it’s incredibly clean and comfortable.

The staff were very helpful, the beach was directly in front, the room was generous, and the huge terrace had chairs, a lounge, and a hammock. Shops, local eateries, and dive centers were within walking distance, and the breakfast was good. You can’t get to the property by public transport (only shuttle, private, or organized tour), a small lamp next to the bright ceiling light would be nice, and the beach strip could be tidier with less litter.
