The place was quiet and the new location is nice. The staff spoke little or very weak English, and the location was hard to find.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was excellent, very clean and well equipped. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the bathroom with shower and toilet was clean and in very good condition. Unfortunately the toilet flush was leaking and filled up every few minutes with a loud noise, especially at night, which disturbed our sleep.

Parking was safe and the welcome from Leo Paul, who spoke perfect English, was wonderful. The restaurant was closed on Sunday night, but he suggested Piccolino about 15 minutes away, booked a table, and gave perfect directions. The atmosphere was great, the staff were friendly, the bed was comfy, and the room was spotless. The hotel is 45 minutes from the Euro shuttle in Calais, making it very easy to get there.

The hotel is nice and conveniently located about a five‑minute drive from the A16, a place we’ve stayed at several times. The room and bathroom were good, and the buffet breakfast was solid. There is plenty of on‑site parking. On this visit, however, we were disappointed with the restaurant menu. Previously we’d been offered a “menu of the day” that was always well cooked and offered a good choice. This time, for some unexplained reason, the menu was restricted to only a “fish of the day” or a “meat of the day.” The daily special was moules and chips, which we didn’t like, so we had to ask a manager for the only other fish available on the premises. The manager, seeing we were unhappy, gave us a glass of wine each, but we’re now seriously questioning whether we’ll return if the menu doesn’t change. We would be sad to miss out, as the hotel is very nice and convenient for us between Calais and Brittany.
