We spent a weekend at Conacul Sofra that was a rare story‑book experience, one of those that stays in your heart long after you leave. The manor is absolutely enchanting: elegant, tastefully furnished with vintage furniture and a special atmosphere where refinement naturally blends with the warmth of an authentic home. Corina pampered us with a fabulous kitchen, where Romanian dishes received an international, sophisticated, and surprising touch without losing charm and authenticity. Every meal was a joy in itself. But what truly makes this place special are the people. Corina and her husband Cristi were extraordinary hosts. They moved around us with perfect care and naturalness, making us feel like members of a royal family, without any ostentation or visible effort. Everything came naturally, with elegance, warmth, and rare generosity. It was a natural blend of elegance, gastronomy, hospitality, and soul. Perhaps the most beautiful thing is that after only two days we felt as if we had known each other for a lifetime. It felt as if we weren’t guests but dear people returning home.
