Everything was excellent, starting with the pre‑arrival communication. Karmen was very helpful and forthcoming. The room and bathroom are beautifully decorated, with a lot of thought put into the arrangement. All you need for a pleasant stay is there, such as tea/coffee supplies and even dishes and glasses if you want to make a salad or eat on the terrace. The rooms/suites (I think there are three) are in a nice traditional building on the third floor, and I enjoy climbing the stairs (great exercise). I stayed in the room facing the garden, which was very quiet. The terrace was spacious and lovely for breakfast or lingering in the evening. A special bonus is excellent access to public transport: both the Circumvesuviana train station and the bus station are less than a two‑minute walk. This is the last train station before Sorrento, so you have a great choice by taking a train, a bus, or walking to the center (25 minutes). This makes the location a perfect base for exploring the Amalfi coast and Pompeii. There’s a well‑supplied supermarket just a three‑minute walk away. I didn’t miss not being in the very center of Sorrento at all. Thanks, Karmen! I hope to return.
“Absolutely fantastic apartment and even greater host”
The apartment was absolutely fantastic with a patio overlooking Corso Italia and a 20‑minute walk along the main road into Sorrento. It’s less than five minutes from the train station and two minutes from the bus stops. The apartment is excellent, and the host added beautiful touches, sweets, cakes, toiletries, and even a video showing how to get to the apartment from the station. I’ve stayed in 5* hotels that offered fewer extras. The host was in constant communication before and during our trip and couldn’t be more helpful, going above and beyond what could reasonably be expected. This was 6* service. Karmen, the host, is literally one in a million – you won’t find better service anywhere. I cannot recommend Karmen and the Penthouse apartments highly enough. Absolutely nothing!

Everything at the accommodation was flawless! We loved it so much, it’s even prettier than the photos. The place was fully stocked with a coffee machine, muffins, cookies, chocolates, and plenty of bath products. Everything was spotless and the décor was amazing 💕 We arrived in the morning, dropped our luggage at the front desk, and by the end of the day everything was in our room. Very well connected – the train station was right behind the property and a bus stop was just a few meters in front, and you can even walk to the center of Sorrento. Carmen was the friendliest person ever! She gave us lots of tips and suggestions for places to visit and left a small gift in our room. 💕 For people like Carmen, a true host! I would definitely come back.
The owner is exceptionally caring, very pleasant, and offered us free luggage storage until the evening. The room was perfectly prepared in a vintage style, beautifully color‑coordinated, and full of a gift bowl (cookie pack, candy pack, souvenirs, a postcard with a handwritten thank‑you). In the area there’s a restaurant‑pizzeria, a shop, and about a six‑minute walk to the train station. The room was totally quiet for a good rest.
