Score 8.0/10. The Yurt itself was very comfortable, lovely, and warm, with a super comfy bed and plenty of space for clothes. WiFi worked well, and there was a private kitchen, toilet, and shower room for Yurt users. However, it would be better to have coffee and tea supplies inside the Yurt instead of having to go to the kitchen, which is in a private part of the house for Yurt users. A TV would also be nice. We’re both in our 60s and needed to use the toilet 2–3 times at night, so it was inconvenient to get up at 2 or 3 am, take off shoes and coats, and head to the toilet. There are lights outside the Yurt but they turn off after 1 sh, so a torch is needed to reach the main house. The Hot Tub is a log burner and takes 2–3 hours to reach temperature. The host could offer to have the hot tub ready when you arrive. If you’re over 60 like us, the toilet routine is a bit much, so we won’t be returning. But if you’re in your prime, you’ll love it.

Score 8.0/10. The Yurt was amazing, very nice and cosy; I loved listening to the rain and everything was lovely and clean. The hot tub can take a long time to warm up and you only get one use unless you pay for an extra.

The yurt was gorgeous, cosy and warm, and it had everything we needed, including a kitchen stocked with most appliances you’d expect. The view was lovely and the hot tub was a highlight. I would have appreciated knowing beforehand that the hot tub is limited to one use per stay unless you pay for an extra session; we didn’t mind paying more, but the detail wasn’t listed online and we only discovered it in the welcome book after we’d already used the tub.
