I appreciated that they had separate parking spaces, but I was shocked to discover the place was actually a semi-basement. The room felt damp and had a musty, roach‑like odor right when I arrived, and cockroaches greeted me immediately. Both beds were sofa beds, and the bedding also felt damp.

The house was spacious and the garden was especially pretty; the price was perfect compared to peak season, making it the cheapest stay on my itinerary even when including the taxi fare from the airport. There were no bedrooms, just two large beds in the living room, which could work well for a family trip. The host was friendly. However, on the day of arrival, perhaps due to the Italian heat, the place felt like a semi‑basement. Even though it didn’t rain, the lack of windows meant no ventilation, and a mold‑like smell—though it looked clean, I guessed it was just damp earth scent—made the air humid. Without an air conditioner, the nights were hot and uncomfortable, though a fan was available. The linens were dusty and the door wouldn’t open, so everyone slept poorly. At night it was damp and very cold, but luckily blankets were provided. The price and the host’s friendliness offset all of this, and I think it would be great to return on a cooler day.

The house sits in a beautiful, peaceful neighborhood with good neighbors, and driving there was no problem. What made the stay memorable was the host, VALERIA, who was incredibly kind, warm, and open‑minded. The water quality was outstanding—drinking straight from the tap felt like fresh mountain spring water, sweet and smooth. The coffee was also amazing, and VALERIA kindly gifted me a box of it, which I felt grateful for. Even though it was just one night, I left with a comfortable and warm memory. Thank you, VALERIA, for your hospitality.

The location is excellent if you want to reach Malpensa. The house is clean and has all the comforts.
