I booked this place after the previous host told me the hot water had burst, so I had to cancel and drive over; I ended up renting it as a quick fix. The furnishings are luxurious and everything a guest needs is there, and the owner is helpful and responsive. But the room feels abandoned, with cobwebs in the corners and a damp atmosphere. The windows are tiny and the furniture is cramped; the larger room I swapped into was still cramped and had no view, and it felt deserted. The owner overcharged when I switched rooms. The door slams loudly, there’s no housekeeping, no nearby services, no trash disposal, and the windows let anyone passing by see inside.
