All staff were kind and the room stayed clean. When I asked which sights to see in Iwamizawa, the staff had no recommendations; the city’s tourist pamphlet had plenty of information, so I felt the hotel could have promoted local attractions more. The city was fragrant with roses during their peak, and the modern station was nice. We also visited the Iwamizawa Park Rose Festival. Pizza at Pizzeria Ruchi, a genuine Neapolitan pizza, was quite tasty.

Even after turning off the heater, the room stayed warm, and the hotel staff handled things well. The toilet’s drainage was poor and caused backflow, so there’s room for improvement.
