It can get a bit loud on weekends, but it’s a really nice little hotel.

The location is a major plus, so you hardly ever need a car; the staff are very friendly, attentive, and always ready to help; the rooms stay very clean and the breakfasts are delicious. However, this time we were assigned rooms next to the skate park, and the noise from the park was overwhelming. Last year we stayed in rooms on the opposite side and didn’t have this issue. We understand the skate park is public and not the hotel’s fault, but the noise really disrupted our sleep. We woke at 3:00 am for the Tamarindo Marathon and wanted to rest around 10:30–11:00 am, yet a group of guys were blasting music, drinking, and apparently using drugs. We asked the hotel guard to call the police, but got no support. We ended up confronting them ourselves and managed to negotiate a move to another spot so we could sleep. The hotel should consider measures to reduce noise for rooms facing the park and, above all, have a protocol to support guests in such situations.

The location was perfect, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was nice, we loved the pool, and they arranged a fantastic driver for us.

The rooms were well equipped, the bed was comfortable, everything was very clean and pleasant. There was a refrigerator, toiletries, and plenty of towels in the room. The pool was clean and pleasantly cool. Breakfast was lovingly prepared and served, coffee and water were always available. The location was ideal for strolling around the town and eating out, the beach was close, and everything was within walking distance. The property was guarded and made us feel safe. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Everything was perfect!
