The food was very good, the staff friendly, the vibe felt like home, and the natural setting was impressive. On the downside, the arrival area was unsatisfactory, mainly because construction was in progress; the construction notice was only on the last page of the website, which isn’t very customer‑friendly. The e‑bikes on loan were not in the best condition—the brakes were off.

“Fantastic spa hotel in a great location with amazing staff”

The staff are all fantastic-particularly Nadine, the young woman at reception who checked us in and the barman (sorry, we can’t remember the names of the latter 2!). The food was all also amazing -a credit to the chefs and kitchen staff. We loved the spa and all the facilities and enjoyed the saunas and massages. The room was big and comfortable, and quiet (despite a bit of noise from the building work which didn’t disturb us) with a lovely view into the forest. Having someone to park our car took away a lot of stress as did having an EV charger on site. Only minor niggles-the room was quite warm despite us leaving the door open all day. We brought our own fan but a fan would be helpful and/or a sheet on the bed as well as a duvet. We also felt that a hotel of this level should provide a coffee machine in the room -though we understand the sustainability issue with that. Similarly we would except shampoo and conditioner rather than just shower gel

“Très beau séjour dans cet hôtel charmant où l'on se sent comme un roi”

The hotel was very beautiful, very comfortable with excellent facilities; the Spa and outdoor pool were truly great, with several types of saunas and quiet relaxation areas, the outdoor sauna was superb, the restaurant was very good and the half‑board option offered great variety. We had a suite with a jacuzzi, the bathroom was magnificent, the staff were very pleasant, and there were many hikes nearby; the breakfast was exceptional. Our only regret was that the suite had somewhat outdated furniture compared to the design shown in the photos, and the view from our room was not great because it faced the side rather than the magnificent forest, but this did not stop us from having a very good stay.
