The location is central on the island, near the ferry, and the bed is very comfortable for a reasonable price, yet the staff barely speak English (they use a translator only when absolutely necessary). The noise early in the morning is intense—construction work that wasn’t disclosed beforehand, and the cleaners and children in the showers screamed loudly. I had to switch rooms because the original one lacked a door, offering no privacy or darkness, and although the credit card was charged, it took a few days to resolve the issue.

The bed was comfortable and the staff were friendly, but the room is a tiny prefab with almost no usable space, the bathroom was dirty, the water smelled awful whenever it ran, and the door didn’t lock properly; we had to bring our own padlock when leaving.
