The Masseria looks great after renovation and the interior is really attractive. Our suite was spacious, comfortable and unique. The pool is well maintained, clean and quiet. The food at the restaurant was of good quality. However, the Masseria sits next to a busy road and the exit is hard to navigate, so traffic noise can be noticeable. The bathroom was spacious but only had a small shower, which felt out of place. Breakfasts were limited and seemed to come mainly from the local supermarket; there was no fresh orange juice and we had to ask for a second coffee. The restaurant was overpriced and had few vegetarian options. It was sometimes hard to find the owners because reception was often unmanned, and they weren’t very friendly—perhaps because we didn’t speak Italian and they spoke little English.

The setting is enchanting, far from a conventional hotel. I completely unplugged and loved the silence and privacy. It’s also convenient for visiting nearby towns, trying different restaurants at night, and discovering the beaches.

The location is good and the pool is appreciated. The staff were unprofessional, probably because they’re new. Breakfast was nothing special.

This place has an amazingly peaceful vibe! The hosts are so friendly that you instantly feel right at home, and you’re totally spoiled and cared for.
