I was utterly let down by the state of this place and the careless management. The rooms felt filthy, privacy was almost non‑existent, and the washroom door was broken. Most alarming was the lack of security—people could walk into my room while I was gone, threatening my belongings and safety. The staff didn’t respond, were unprofessional, and refused to take responsibility for guests’ well‑being. Instead of offering help or fixing real problems, they left us to handle everything alone. A hotel that charges for accommodation should at least provide basic hygiene, privacy, security, and reliable support, but this place failed on all those fronts. I would strongly caution anyone from staying here.

The proximity to the canal and the port was great. The carpet on the common staircase was very dirty—an obvious first impression. The room cleaning wasn’t perfect: hair and fur from previous guests were in the bathroom. The room was not sound‑proof, which could be annoying if the neighbors are noisy.

The air‑conditioning was faulty, the shower was broken, and the bed sheet was not clean. Two out of four power outlets didn’t work.

There was no reception or staff present. The street was a bit shabby. Cleaning was only half‑done: trash bins were full, the bedside table was dirty, the shower had an empty mini bottle of soap, and there was only one bath towel.

The location was convenient because of the nearby shops and the metro, but our three‑night stay was awful. We arrived very late after a train delay, and the hotel claimed to have a 24‑hour reception. We rang the intercom in front of the door, but the receptionist curtly told us, “the code works.” When we finally got into the room, we tried to turn on the air‑conditioning and discovered there was none—an essential feature advertised on the website. We tried to contact reception several times that evening and the next day, and the only reply was that a technician had come but the unit was not repairable at the moment. I wanted a solution because it was hot, but he said it was 16°C in the evening. The real issue was the mosquitoes at night, the view, and the noise. I also realized I couldn’t enjoy the room because it was 26°C during the day. A horrible stay! I absolutely do not recommend it.
