“Sossego total”
The lodge is beautiful, well‑maintained, with lovely gardens and a nice pool area. The bed is excellent, the shower is hot with plenty of water, and the room is dark enough for sleeping with good ventilation. Breakfast is simple but tasty, with fruit, cold cuts, delicious bread, jams, warm cheese bread, and an afternoon coffee. The cakes are a bit dry. The kitchen only prepares eggs, and although there’s a morning cereal, they don’t serve cold milk. The teas are great. The Bistro food is amazing; we dined there Saturday night, the steak was cooked to perfection, the salmon was delicious, portions were generous, and the passion‑fruit risotto paired wonderfully with the salmon. The pool was cold, and it would be great to have heating; the pool area is lovely, but on a hot day few people entered the water. The lodge was full and it was a holiday on Monday, yet the Bistro didn’t serve dinner on Sunday, so you had to leave or order delivery. The breakfast area is small and gets crowded when more people are there. On Saturday afternoon there was a lot of wind and many branches fell on the path to the pool; we left on Monday and no one had cleaned them. There was also no pool service on the holiday. In short, services only run fully until Saturday, regardless of how many guests stay through Monday.
