“Sitio bien, experiencia regular”
I don’t usually give low scores and the place itself has good points, but I’ll explain why I gave 7.0/10 more for my experience than the site. It’s very clean. The person at reception helped me check in late, leaving the key at the front desk, with great courtesy. The room was standard, the bathroom small but functional, and everything was very clean, even the room itself. The price was very good. The place is well‑maintained. It’s on the high side of the town, no problem parking, and it’s cooler than the coast. I couldn’t sleep because the bed was hard (a simple mattress on a wooden frame), the pillow was for two people and too high. The worst was a rooster in the front garden that crowed at odd hours (roosters are supposed to crow at dawn, but this one seemed in love), and since the place has no air conditioning we slept with the window open, so it felt like a rooster alarm clock every two hours. To top it off, before we rushed to the airport the water was cut off and I couldn’t shower.
