The staff were very welcoming, even though I arrived at 1.30 am. They helped me whenever I had questions, and overall the stay was excellent; I only have positive things to say about the staff at The Jays Guesthouse.

This property is currently being renovated; the new owners are open and honest about work taking place between certain hours and offer the option to cancel if needed, so there were no issues. The room was basic but clean and had everything required for a comfortable stay, plus a nice breakfast. Nothing else was problematic, and any issues were reported to the new owners.

They were so helpful and let me stay much later than normal, and they even gave free coffee. The room was a little small, but that wasn’t a problem.

It was close to where I needed to be for training; the host showed me around and upgraded me to an ensuite room that wasn’t being used at the time. Thank you. Everything was great.
