I spent a night in this lovely place and it was exactly what I expected. The host was very friendly and the setting is beautiful, giving a real taste of living in an authentic Filipino house.

The female owner was extremely kind, and right in front of us was the beach – the best spot. She let us use a canoe for free, and I definitely want to stay here again.

Fay and her husband welcomed me warmly, gave useful tips, and even cooked for me. The sea view from the common area is truly lovely. I booked a Deluxe double room with sea view, but no window offered a view of the sea, and calling it “Deluxe” is completely inappropriate. The walls are thin and the room is very noisy. There was also a crack in the wall next to the bed that made it sound like mice were nesting inside.

There are no rooms with a sea view or balcony (only a shared terrace with a sea view) as advertised, and the rooms were covered in spider webs with mattresses only 5 cm thick. I booked a room with a private bathroom, yet the manager directed me to a room with a shared bathroom. When I pointed this out, she replied that maybe tomorrow she would refund the price difference… It’s truly dishonest.
