“Sehr freundlich Gastgeber!!”

We rode motorcycles around and stayed one night. The room was very tidy and clean, the balcony offered a beautiful view. The owner and her husband were very friendly, giving us good tips on where to grab a cozy beer in the evening. And the best part: the food here is excellent – I ordered a rump steak and it was superb. A very nice and friendly young lady (the daughter?) handled it. Overall it was a great stay; the price of 45 € per person in a double room is more than justified, and the breakfast buffet, addable for 15 €, was delicious and well worth it. When we’re back on a motorcycle in the area, we’ll definitely visit again. Thanks for the hospitality, best regards from Tirol.

The room was super clean. The staff, especially the owner, were very friendly and accommodating. The recent renovation looked great. No improvements needed.

The accommodation is simple yet clean, located on the outskirts of Waldachtal, and the rooms are nicely furnished with a tea‑making option; the separately booked breakfast was fresh and offered everything you could need, although there was a faint food odor in the building that has since faded.

I spent a wonderful night at Gasthof Alte Post and can wholeheartedly recommend it! The breakfast was simply delicious – fresh, varied, and lovingly prepared, giving you a great start to the day. The inn is especially family‑friendly, creating a cozy atmosphere where both kids and adults feel comfortable right away, and our dog was warmly welcomed, which made the stay even more pleasant. The friendly hosts foster a relaxed, family‑like vibe that turns the visit into something special. All in all, it’s a very comfortable place where you feel completely at ease, and I’ll definitely return.
