“nice place to be, peaceful stay. no air conditioning and windows can't open because of mosquitos.”
I liked the place, the charming rooms, hallway, and common areas, plus the stairs up to the rooftop terrace with a few chairs to sit and relax. The shared bathrooms and kitchen were spotless, and the fridge was clean with separate bins for each room. It was empty most days, so there was no noise, and the water filter in the kitchen was a nice touch. The location is a couple of blocks east, in the boutique and art gallery side of town—quieter but still walkable to all the action. The downside wasn’t the hotel’s fault, but mosquitoes made it hard to open windows and there was no air conditioning. The fans provided were too small and made a high‑pitch sound; bigger fans that could spin at lower, quieter speeds would have been better. The rooms are generally cool and dark because they’re inside the building and the windows face the courtyard, so you won’t open curtains for privacy, which also means a bit of darkness.
