We dined at the on‑site cafe and it was decent, and the bed was comfortable, but the door didn’t latch properly, one window wouldn’t latch at all, the room had a strong musty odor that forced us to buy Fabreeze, and the TV and remote were broken.

This 1928 motel feels authentic, and Stef brings the charm I love; the plumbing is modern and flawless, and the 24‑hour restaurant feels like a museum of the era. There was nothing to dislike.

No front‑desk staff were available to check us in; after about 15 minutes a girl arrived but she didn’t know how to process us, so we never got a key and lost our non‑refundable payment. The place was filthy and rundown, and I would not recommend it under any circumstances.
