“Not that pleasant”
I chose this place because they say they cater to coeliac disease, but the food options were disappointing—bread was offered but nothing safe to pair with it, like ham, and avoiding cross‑contamination at the buffet seemed impossible. The menu didn’t vary enough for a week‑long stay. Some staff were friendly and helpful, yet others appeared reluctant to be there. The pool water at Esencia was very warm, and it changed after we inquired. The bedroom was a decent size, though we found small pieces of glass on the floor at check‑in and had to clean them before the kids noticed. On certain nights loud music played until 11 pm, making it hard to get the children to sleep. The restaurants opened late—lunch at the main restaurant started at 1 pm and breakfast at Esencia began at 9 am.
