The place was horrendous – everything was filthy, the toilets were crusted with mold, there was no hot water, and the room was swarming with plaster bagworms, so we had to leave immediately.

This old building has a certain charm to it, but it's definitely showing its age. The rooms are not particularly clean, and the bed is rock-hard. The walls are made of wood, which doesn't help with soundproofing - you can hear the street noise loud and clear. To top it off, the breakfast is pretty basic - just a couple of toasts and a banana. Overall, I think the quality just isn't worth the price.

This place is a hidden gem in a great location. The owner is super friendly and offers a cheap airport transfer, which was a nice touch. The only downside is that it's a very simple, no-frills place, but it's got a lot of charm and feels really authentic.

This place looked abandoned and neglected, with trash scattered everywhere and dry leaves covering the ground. The room was dirty, with giant cobwebs on the ceiling and ants in the bathroom. I even spotted a giant cockroach running across the bed after I moved a pillow. Needless to say, I didn't get a good night's sleep and kept the light on. The room wasn't even cleaned properly, and there were still the previous guests' towels hanging in the bathroom.
