The Logis Hotel Gai Soleil is situated in a large park within the village of Samoëns, in the French Alps. This hotel offers guests access to a year-round heated outdoor pool, hot tub, sauna, and hammam. Guest rooms feature mountain-style design, private balconies, and amenities including private bathrooms, TVs, and free Wi-Fi. The hotel is 5 minutes from the Grand Massif slopes and Haut-Giffre valley by Skibus.

The room was very spacious with a large terrace. The indoor pool (still a bit cold) can be used all the time. The sauna is top! And the kids’ playroom is great! The breakfast was a bit disappointing (no croissants or chocolate croissants 😪; there were chocolate braids, maybe they rotate that). Eggs scrambled were also missing.

The terrace on the ground floor was a plus, yet the pool was too small and the water wasn’t warm enough.

The location was great, the bedding was excellent, and the room was nice and clean, but there was no coffee maker and no bottled water.

The pool and table‑tennis areas were solid, the central spot in town made walking a breeze, and the air conditioning worked well; it’s a family‑run place, which is a bonus. I was let down by a €10 daily fee for the mini‑kitchen, which only had a fridge and kettle—the only things we needed—so I felt that should have been included in the price. The shower felt cramped because you have to stand in the rounded part of the tub.
