“Tolle Anlage mit historischem Charme”
Very quiet, pleasant atmosphere, hearty breakfast—an experience.
“Kleine Auszeit im Kloster”
I felt very comfortable. The house has a nice atmosphere. During meals it was easy to strike up conversations with other solo travelers. I would stay there again anytime 😊. Other guests didn’t take the quiet as seriously, which was a pity.
The property is stunning, with a sprawling estate that boasts a beautiful park, a small lake dotted with water lilies, meticulously tended herb beds, and an old mill. There’s plenty to explore, yet it also serves as a perfect haven for quiet. The rooms, styled after an old monastery cell, are narrow and small but clean, modern, bright, and functional. The fine wooden beds made for a wonderful night’s sleep. Shower cabins and toilets are located on the hallway, all very clean and contemporary. For cyclists it’s ideal, featuring a lockable bike cellar with a pump, and lockable charging boxes for e‑bike batteries. The breakfast buffet is generous and leaves nothing to be desired. Dinner options are limited because the venue caters to conference guests/groups, so in my case there were Maultaschen (also vegan) and a variety of salads. Everything I liked.
Very quiet, authentic.
“Verkeerde verwachting: het is een commerciële fabriek.”
Great showers and a spacious room. The food was bad, especially considering the price, even for water or tea. It’s just a commercial factory. Rooms are very noisy with doors and hallway sounds.
