“Our stay was pleasant in some aspects, but the room was not satisfactory for what we paid.”

The spot sits on Main Street, close to shops and mineral pools. Breakfast was decent but limited. The bathroom in our room was nice with a solid shower. The room itself felt cramped and dim, and the double bed’s mattress was uneven. We were told a robe would be provided for the basement mineral pools, but none were available, forcing us to lug luggage up and down stairs. When we mentioned the missing robes to the desk attendant, she replied, “That’s too bad,” with no sympathy at all.

“Great venue & staff”

The venue’s historic vibe, the restaurant, and the staff were all fantastic. Thanks to the staff for their help and kindness, and the hot spa was a highlight. Everything else was perfect.

“Disappointing, would not choose again”

The location is decent, the town is small but we enjoyed our short stay. However, the room was infested with bugs—dead and alive—entering through a gap in a poorly fitted AC window. It was also constantly noisy; freight trains rattled all night (somewhat understandable), and at 5 am a violent dog fight sounded from a neighboring room.

The staff was very friendly and the location was great. Unfortunately, our room didn’t match the website photos at all and needed some TLC. No robes were available for the soaking pools, which were only 84 °F. We had to schedule our soak times, and others were already in the pools when our slot arrived.

“Ça pourrait être tellement beau …”

We were really excited to stay in a historic building, but it turned out to be a huge letdown 😢 The room was dirty and run down! The AC was patched up with taped insulation, windows were grimy and curtains torn 😱 The sheets were (hopefully) clean but there was still a big stain. The view of the parking lot and trash cans was awful 🫣 The highlight: when I left, I checked under the bed and found an old empty water bottle (not ours)… that means the cleaner never goes under the bed 😱 How many years has this been going on? The breakfast was very limited, no fruit, no juice, we were only two and we had to wait over 20 minutes for a quiche to be reheated and for two pieces of bread to be made 😳 There were no ice cubes available! I asked, but it felt like nobody cared!!! Two positives: the hot shower (too hot) and the blonde receptionist who was very nice. The location is good. It’s a shame because if the building were well maintained it would be pleasant and beautiful… I definitely do not recommend. Really overpriced for what it is…
