We had a great stay; the location is unbeatable, close to a beautiful temple and throughout the historic center. The place was clean, tidy, and traditional—exactly what we wanted. The staff were super friendly, and upon arrival we were upgraded to a room with our own onsen, which was beautiful to discover while staying in Kyoto. Everything was perfect; we would come back a thousand times.

A beautiful ryokan in Kyoto’s geisha district. The traditional room was really lovely and comfortable, and the private mini‑onsen in the bathroom made the stay wonderful. The property also offers a 45‑minute private onsen that you’ll never miss. In the morning you can enjoy a nice breakfast—I'd recommend the traditional Japanese option, it’s very good. Definitely worth every penny!
