The hotel sits right on the main street, just steps from Bolsena’s historic center. It was clean and tidy overall, but the reception area in the hallway was a bit awkward when other guests passed by. Breakfast needs improvement: the brioches were almost burnt, most items were commercial and not very high quality, and the Wi‑Fi on the top floor didn’t work at all.

The location is superb, within walking distance of the historic center and the lake, and the on‑site parking is handy. I appreciated the friendly and helpful young man who greeted us at breakfast and during check‑out. The room was clean, though the shower could have used a bit more attention.

I stayed here as the final stop on a walking tour; the room and bathroom were spacious, the bed comfortable, and everything was clean. The staff were courteous. However, the first breakfast was disappointing: packaged bread, frozen croissants, and nothing fresh except a cake. They don’t even offer plant‑based milk, which is now expected in a three‑star hotel. I chose a hotel instead of an apartment hoping for a richer breakfast, but at this level the offerings are almost identical, and in an apartment you can eat whenever you like instead of waiting until 8 am and risking someone else taking the table 😨. A pity!
