The location, architecture, cuisine, and pool were all perfect, the langouste was never frozen and was ordered the next day, the staff were efficient and plentiful—no one could carry a suitcase or bag by themselves—there were Indian clothing shops and an excellent hotel pedicure, and there were no negatives mentioned.

The views were great and the place was very spread out with plenty of nooks and corners for relaxing; the staff were very polite, and as an ayurvedic healing centre it offers simple, tasty vegetarian food and treatments, but it’s a bit cut off from everything else and getting around is expensive because there’s no Uber or Ola—only private cabs that charge double or triple, though it’s fine if you just want to stay there and not go out much.
