Ella Bamboo Tree Cottage

“NICE! stay in Ella Bamboo Tree Cottage”

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was well equipped, including mosquito nets. The Sri Lankan breakfast was excellent – every day a different menu. They organized great tours and advised on what to see nearby. Laundry service was available. Dinner could be ordered. The huge terrace was just for us with a view of the countryside.

“Un séjour inoubliable !”

A huge thank you to our hosts for their extraordinary kindness, sympathy and empathy; we felt at home immediately. The meals are simply amazing: breakfasts and dinners change each day, a real daily treat! The accommodation is very well equipped, the bedding is absolutely comfortable, and the location is perfect: quiet, slightly out of the city, but with all shops nearby. A beloved address where we will return with closed eyes! I would not stay longer.

“Fabuleuse expérience”

The accommodation is magnificent, with a splendid view from our terrace and very good Wi‑Fi. Our hosts were extraordinarily kind, offering services and amenities worthy of a 4‑star hotel. Excellent value for money. The homemade breakfast prepared by the host was delicious and very filling. I recommend this beautiful place in the heights of Ella, about a 15‑minute tuk‑tuk ride to Ella’s city centre. Nothing to add.

The view of the valley from the terrace was gorgeous. The people were incredibly kind and welcomed us warmly. The breakfast was delicious and very extensive. The room was basic, but the beds were comfortable and the air‑conditioner worked well. The manager gave us a tuk‑tuk to wherever we wanted.
