“I had a lovely stay”
It had everything I needed in terms of facilities, and I really appreciated how clean everything was.
“Disgusting vile room”
The spot was decent, but that was all. The room was smaller than the photos showed; we booked a sea‑view room, yet you could only see it by leaning over a table and stretching your neck to the left. The bathroom sink was tiny, with a full‑size tap that made it hard to turn on the cold water, and a shelf above it meant you hit your head when you leaned down to wash your face. The sink was cracked and had rust around the drain hole. The window wouldn’t shut, and the shower smelled like sewage so badly that after 200 miles of travel we couldn’t even shower. The light switch was missing a button, the fan’s front panel was gone and it felt dangerous. I tolerated all that for one night, but if I’d seen the mattress that night I’d have preferred sleeping in the car; it was disgusting and filthy. The only clothes storage was directly over the kettle, so it couldn’t be used—a stupid idea.
The location was great, but the wet room and toilet were horrible and very uncomfortable.

The location is good, supermarkets are quick to reach, the bus stop to the station is close, and you can walk into town fast. The shower door doesn’t close properly, there’s not enough toilet paper and towels for a three‑night stay, the dining table is tiny with only stools—proper chairs would be better, the fridge was listed but not in the room, though there was space for it; we had to use the one in the adjacent storage room. The bed is too narrow at 1.40 m.
