The location, tranquility, and overall quality were excellent. The only complaint was the lack of shutters in the rooms.

The spot is gorgeous on a hill among the vineyards, but it’s pretty remote. The pool was a real relief after a long drive. We were the only guests, which felt a bit odd, and there’s no dining spot nearby. We drove a little over 10 minutes to an auberge that turned out to be closed, so we ended up grabbing take‑out pizza from Les quatre saisons in Saint Martin la Pallu and eating it in the garden.
