The location is great, right next to the LRT and major shopping streets. If you want a barebones stay in a prime spot, this works. The bed sheets were clean, and I recommend the room I had for solo travelers. Check‑in was easy with the machine. The room could have been cleaner, especially the bathroom, and it was smaller than it looked online. It would have been tough for two people, but I was alone. There’s no elevator, so bring heavy luggage with caution.

I was really let down by my time at One18 Hotel. The biggest problem was the lack of an elevator, something that wasn’t mentioned before I booked. Carrying bags up the stairs was a hassle, especially when guests should know about this ahead of time. There was also no proper front desk, so checking in was confusing and inconvenient, and no staff member could be reached. I think these critical details need to be clearly listed in the hotel info and booking page; if I’d known there was no lift or reception, I would have booked elsewhere. All in all, it was a very disappointing experience.

The location was convenient for being in the hustle and bustle of Chinatown, but the room was not noisy. The staff I met were nice and helpful; they brought me extra towels when I asked and assisted me in changing rooms. However, all the rooms have no windows, which was not clear when booking, and I also experienced low water pressure on the top floor.
