“We had a great time with our family and really enjoyed our time away.”
The prices and location were great. The spaghetti bolognaise on the kids menu won every day of our stay. The kids club was always icy cold. No request was too difficult for the staff. The pool temperature was always spot on. Housekeeping responded within a minute or two. I loved the upgraded shower gel in the Deluxe Suite – it smelled so nice. The tuk‑tuk driver knew us by first name from day one. A big shout out to the boss man at the security gate. Everyone was welcoming of kids as well as other older Aussie families. The doors to the Kids Club are super big and heavy, not designed for kids (or adults) to open easily and could cause injury. Perhaps themed activities or events for both adults and kids could be added; the only event was a cooking exercise. The filter grates at the bottom of the pool, cream/white, were breaking apart easily, causing discomfort when stepping on them. Kids were also picking them up from the bottom of the pool. Extra bottles of water and toilet paper for each room could be provided, as we went through them quickly. Scrambled eggs could be on the egg menu instead of the buffet. A cold water dispenser closer to the main lobby, maybe a couple more around the place, would help; ours ran out of cold water quickly. There was some international cuisine, but only three countries were featured over 7 days.
