The Standard Double Room at Hotel Neuer am See features a spacious contemporary-style layout with an excellent queen bed, private bathroom, and modern amenities, including free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV, offering a highly comfortable stay.

“A traditional lakeside hotel with quality rooms and an excellent inclusive breakfast.”
The hotel, run by a family, sits on a beautiful lakeside spot and features its own bakery and Konditorei; breakfast was outstanding with a wide selection of breads—especially the white Brötchen I’d love to eat daily—plus fresh fruit, pastries, and eggs. A lovely surprise was the owners greeting guests with a glass of prosecco in the garden, an event that seems to happen only once a week (I was fortunate). The complimentary Gästepaß was convenient for free bus rides to Prien. Herr Neuer and his mother were charming hosts, and although the bedroom was small, it was thoughtfully and stylishly furnished. The only downside was that the reception was not staffed all day; a sign at the desk suggested that cafe staff could help, but they were uninterested in moving my luggage. Additionally, the pillows were lumpy and could use replacement.

The hotel’s location is excellent, the entire staff is willing and friendly, breakfasts are plentiful, the cuisine is superb, and everything is clean.

The breakfast was generous, the staff were very friendly, the location was excellent, the rooms were nicely decorated, and the food came in huge portions. The downside was that it was very hot inside because there was no air conditioning, so I had to leave the windows open at night, which made the street noise unavoidable.
The location was perfect, the food was wonderful, and I slept well.
I stayed in a very comfortable room that was modernly equipped, enjoyed a plentiful breakfast, and liked the restaurant. The hotel has no elevator, and the Wi‑Fi works best when I use a VPN.
