The accommodation was beautiful and peaceful with a garden, everything was super clean, and the host was very warm. The location is perfect as a base for exploring the whole island.

The B&B is well‑located and spacious, with a large room, a shared kitchen, and a lovely garden. Parking is available on the property, and I’d consider staying again.

The setting is very hospital‑like, with a great spot on the island and a quiet, peaceful vibe, plus friendly dogs and cows. The only downside is that there are only three rooms and the owners, so the facilities are shared; there are two bathrooms and a large kitchen, so there’s no shortage of space, but it does offer less privacy than a typical hotel room.

My partner and I stayed eight days in this lovely house and felt right at home. The house is gorgeous, with a huge garden that radiates calm, and the rooms, bathrooms and all the house’s amenities are spacious and clean. The location is perfect, a very quiet town just 10 minutes from Ponta Delgada. And without a doubt the best part of the whole experience was Lucia and her husband, two charming gentlemen who were attentive to anything you might need at any moment. A 10/10 experience, and if we return to São Miguel we’ll definitely go back to Casa Branca.
