The staff were exceptional, the breakfast was great, and the location was ideal.

Location, how clean it was and the breakfast was varied and good. Room(Victoria)was really small and hot and felt a bit claustrophobic because the window was high.Also when we arrived everything was locked up and didn't open till 2pm which was fine but they were 15 minutes late and we were left on the pavement

The staff were relaxed and friendly. The location is brilliant for walking around York – very close to the Minster and all the sights – and the breakfast was excellent.

Everything was spot on: the bed was comfy, breakfast was generous and tasty, parking on site, and a 2‑minute walk into town. No negatives.
