“We moved hotels after one night”
The breakfast was nice and the staff serving it were friendly. The bar/restaurant had nice views. The photos on their website showed “The Unique Boutique Seaside Hotel” looking lovely, but we found tired and basic rooms and bathrooms that were falling apart. Some rooms had been refurbished while others had not, and they only posted photos of the nice, new ones. We were told the night before we arrived that there would be an event during our stay with “background noise or music until about 12am”. The event was a wedding, something they would have known about when we booked a month earlier. With two young children we were worried about a night of potential disruption. We left after one night and found another (cleaner, fully refurbished) hotel nearby.
