The room was tidy and the bathroom pretty comfortable, which made the stay pleasant overall. Unfortunately the TV was dead the whole time, and the people sitting at the courtyard tables were a bit noisy at night. Still, the clean space made up for those small annoyances.

I felt completely out of place in that neighborhood – the staff didn’t speak any English, there was no TV or internet, and the street noise was constant. The walls felt like cardboard, offering no real privacy. In short, a terrible experience.

The flat was nicely set up, air‑conditioned and had everything we needed for the price, so it was a decent base. The staff, however, seemed confused and only spoke Bulgarian, which led to a mix‑up over our room type and a delay in getting the right bed. The kitchen lacked basic cookware, we had to ask twice for cutlery, and the fridge was set to freezer so our food froze overnight.

The room was surprisingly large, which was a nice surprise. On the downside, there was no shampoo or shower gel, only a few power outlets, and the smart TV required a personal account to watch anything, leaving it pretty much useless. Those little missing bits added up.

We enjoyed a roomy space and the hosts were very friendly, making us feel welcome. The listing mentioned a fully equipped kitchen, yet guests in double or triple rooms couldn’t actually use it, which was confusing. It would help if that restriction was clearly stated up front.
