Very affordable room in a great location close to markets and shopping malls. Aircon and WiFi both worked great. 7/11 next door is handy as is the mini fridge in the room. Drinking water provided from dispensers. Bathroom floor was quite dirty and a lot of mould in the shower. Rooms are very bright at night with light coming in through small windows onto the corridor that cannot be covered. Quite loud with internal noise from people, doors and doorbells. Had to squish a few cockroaches and empty toilet roll was not replaced a couple of times during my stay

I stayed two nights from 2‑5 September 2026 at Kingston 8 Hotel; the room shown on Booking was a glass‑free, coffin‑like space that was nothing like the one I booked, which made me very unhappy. The room had no windows, was a box‑like space without glass, and I was disappointed because the photos on the site were different from what I received. This is the first time I’ve stayed in such a bad, windowless room.

Housekeeping staff named Arpin helped me with everything; my room was tidy, the receptionist was friendly, and I will definitely return.
