The location and room were warm and mostly clean. It is doing its best but feels very tired. Breakfast was adequate. I had to prop the bedroom window open with the wooden blocks provided. It was very warm and £10 for parking was excessive.

We’ve stayed here for a few years and the location is great, but it would be nice if they offered bar snacks during the day for guests who don’t want to wait for the set dinner times.

The location was good, and the breakfast was exceptional with very friendly staff, plus the building itself was once magnificent. The room was spacious and the facilities were clean, but the lift didn’t work and parking, while available, cost £10 a night.

The evening meals were good, but the staff were mediocre and they didn’t provide enough help for our disabled guest.

One of the rooms had a sea view. Our 3 rooms could not have been further apart , we asked for 3 rooms close together as my mum is 86 yes old and ill health
