The location was convenient, close to the metro I used, and there was a Market shop across the street; the reception was open 24/7. However, the room’s cleanliness and some furnishings left a lot to be desired. At first glance everything seemed fine, but the entrance door to the room had a gap of over two centimeters on the floor, and sounds from the hallway could be heard, compromising privacy. The curtains were dirty and too short to cover the entire window; either the edges or the middle were missing, so privacy was still lacking. There was no power strip—only a single 230‑volt socket, and the one next to the bed was unusable due to spiderwebs. The window frames were terribly dirty. The duvet was the size of a double bed, while the pillowcase matched a single bed. Breakfast was served on a single plate with no choice of what to eat; everything was placed on the plate by the staff. On the first day, the remaining Tymbark drink was in a plastic bottle, and when I asked for it, the staff said it was finished; as an apology we received cookies, which was a nice gesture, but I wanted a drink, not sweets. I appreciated the receptionist’s gesture. The next morning there was no juice; only a two‑ or three‑liter bottle of mineral water was available. Milk was missing for cereal and coffee. After I requested milk, we were given a small jug with just enough to pour into coffee. The espresso machine was not ready in the morning, lacking water, full of grounds, and the tray was full.
