“A conveniently located hotel that is reasonably priced”

I liked the location, being a short walk from the ferry terminal, along bus routes, close to the popular and interesting Lebuh Chulia and Armenia, and other interesting sights. The deluxe double room with ensuite was spacious enough and clean, with a window view of the main street. The air conditioner worked well, which mattered a lot to me because I’m not used to heat and humidity. The images supplied by the hotel were accurate. I wasn’t that happy with the self‑service check‑in that used pre‑recorded WhatsApp communication; the instructions were sometimes unclear and requests weren’t handled properly. For example, when I asked if I could leave luggage at the hotel before check‑in, I was just told the check‑in time again, so I had to find a luggage storage elsewhere. Other guests could leave luggage at the hotel, but I always prefer talking to a real person. Heavy machinery was working on the major road near the hotel, which could have been very noisy; fortunately my stay fell on public holidays so there was no work, but the roads were constantly busy with traffic and the lack of a safe pavement was obvious.

“Quite Disappointed”

The location was good, but I could hear every bathroom noise and smell from the room while trying to sleep. I cut myself on poorly installed stair trim, and the staff stayed loud past midnight; I had to text them to stop yelling. Their constant loud spitting was obnoxious, and I received incorrect check‑in information. There was no bedframe.

The spot is great and the manager is easy to reach. The room was small and only apparently clean.
