I arrived in the middle of the night, hoping to just check‑in and sleep, but they told me my booking was invalid and that I had to cancel myself. They wouldn’t cancel it on their side and still charged me a one‑day cancellation fee that I haven’t gotten back yet. Initially they claimed the hotel was fully booked, which turned out to be false; later they said they couldn’t honor it because I paid by credit card and wanted cash, even though there was no cash‑payment option on site. They finally offered a room but demanded cash and a much higher rate than my reservation. The room itself looked run‑down, and there are better hotels nearby at similar prices. I decided not to stay because of all the shady booking practices.
