10/10! A wonderful hotel and an incredibly hospitable family! We had a great time at Family Hotel Yagodino and were very satisfied. It’s exactly the place where you feel not just a guest but a real visitor. The hotel is very clean, quiet and cozy, everything is neat and done with care. And most importantly the whole family is very welcoming, friendly and attentive to their guests. I especially want to highlight the kitchen – it’s simply 10/10! Everything is very tasty, fresh and homemade. Fresh homemade vegetables, a real Bulgarian shop salad with homemade tomatoes and cucumbers, homemade cheese, forest mushrooms, an omelette from homemade eggs, fresh homemade pastries. Everything is natural, fresh and really made with love. Breakfasts and dinners were a separate pleasure. It was very nice how the staff treated us. Here you really feel warmth, attention and a sincere desire to make your stay comfortable. That attitude is memorable. A huge thank you to Valentin for help on the road. About 3–4 km from Yagodino, on a narrow mountain road, we hit a stone with our wheel. We didn’t have a spare. We called the owners and Valentin came without any problem, brought his own wheel and helped us continue. After that he also called the tyre shop, explained our situation and arranged for us to be accepted. When we arrived they were already waiting and knew we would come. They helped us solve the problem and we were able to buy another tyre. Valentin was always on the line and told us to call him anytime if we can’t find the road or any other problem arises. Huge thanks – it’s real human help and care! It’s also very convenient that Maria speaks Russian, so guests from Ukraine who don’t know Bulgarian can easily communicate. Valentin knows English and German, which makes communication with foreign guests even easier. The hotel also offers laundry service without any problem, which is especially convenient after hiking.
